What really causes heart disease?

Everyone, you NEED to read this web article by Dr. Dwight Lundell: http://preventdisease.com/news/12/030112_World-Renown-Heart-Surgeon-Speaks-Out-On-What-Really-Causes-Heart-Disease.shtml

Basic summary (but please read it because it’s so important!):

Doctors have long believed that heart disease is caused by elevated blood cholesterol. The only prescription was to lower cholesterol and severely restrict fat intake. But that is no longer true! Inflammation in the artery wall is the real cause of heart disease. More people are going to die of heart disease in America than ever before, and it’s caused by the low-fat diet recommended by doctors. The overload of simple carbs and sugars (sugar, flour, and vegetable oils like corn and soybean) causes the buildup of inflammation in our arteries. While we continue to consume foods that have a high shelf-life, we are slowly poisoning ourselves. The very best way to reduce inflammation is to try eating as many foods as possible in their natural state.

Be healthy, be aware, and try your best to eat naturally!
