Sport Specific Tip: Cycling!
I’m bringing back the Sport Specific Tips! If you haven’t done so, please fill out this survey so that I can know which sports my followers love the most! If you are in too high of a gear and not within the range, you are putting...

Anonymous asked: Hi, I was wondering if you knew of the app and website called "MyFittnessPal" ? Maybe someone that follows you might find it useful but it helps you keep track of the food you eat and how much you work out! I find it useful! :)

Anonymous asked: Thanks so much for the advice! I've been incorporating them into my daily life and it's great! I also have a question: is there such a thing as "too much salad"--is it okay to eat salad every day?

Anonymous asked: today my friend commented that fruit is high and sugar and it made me wonder if there's good sugar and bad sugar, like there's good carbs and bad carbs? I know fruit is good for you, but she acted like I was eating candy, should I be careful how much fruit I eat if it's high in sugar?

Anonymous asked: Hi! I was wondering if you could help me. I live in Spain at the moment where we are currently experiencing 39'C heat! Whilst it's lovely to relax in it's not so great to work out in. I only have certain times when I can work out (10.30-1ish 3 times a week), which is when the sun is hottest! Normally I can run for 25-30 mins without stopping, however in this heat, I find it...

Anonymous asked: I started doing trail runs with my boyfriend 2 weeks ago. I also quit smoking 3 weeks ago. During our runs I'm having a hard time maintaining my running. I can't run long distance. And I've developed shin splints. Is there a way to ease my breathing issues or is that something I just have to work through? And for the shin splints, any advice?

Anonymous asked: I know runners aren't supposed to build an upper body, but I absolutely HATE the runners body. I have way more upper body endurance (not strength) than most others so it appears as if i work out too much for a runner. Is this bad? I love running and consider myself really advanced in the sport, but I don't want to look like one.

Anonymous asked: Hello Alex, I really enjoy your blog! I am a casual runner/jogger so my lower body is more toned than my upper body-- leaving me with flabby arms. Do you know of simple ways to tone that area that don't include bench pressing or anything too hefty? Thanks a lot!

Anonymous asked: To the Anon who said they run 6miles daily. Youre finding it hard to resist because by only eating two smoothies daily, you're depriving your body. So when it sees something it's used to eating, it can't resist it. Instead of depriving yourself, drink your two smoothies, also add in fruits and veggies, grilled chicken etc to your diet. Google healthy recipes. That's where the...

Anonymous asked: I am in a pickle and I"m tired of it! I used to weigh 300 pounds and I started cutting back, i've lost 105lbs so far. I have 45lbs to go until I reach my goal weight and that's where the problem lies. I've been developing bad habits, like...I literally run every day up to 6 miles and hike with a 40lb rucksack. The only thing I eat is 2 smoothies. But I get so ravished that when...
